December 12, 2009   It is with great pleasure the Virginia Lions can announce their new Head Coach, Michael Johnson. Coach Johnson was the 2009 defensive coordinator for the Virginia Lions and also substituted as Head Coach during the 2009 season twice. Once against the Boston Ravens and also against the Philadelphia Blaze. Coach Johnson is a proven Champion and has the Rings to prove it! He also is a proven asset to the community and the Virginia Lions. Coach Johnson also coaches for Osbourn City High School in Manassas, VA, an elite program in the Commonwealth.   Coach Mike has been a part of the Northern Virginia community and around football for many years and has built a reputation of a true champion and focused leader. The Virginia Lions will look to Coach Mike to "Put the work in" while they look forward to building back to back winning seasons in 2010!   Virginia Lions   "Join the Pride!"
